We have just enjoyed an excellent Healthy Schools week! The week began with our Sports Days. The sun was shining and the children had a fantastic time. It was wonderful to see them all supporting each other so naturally.

The children also learnt about how the teachers keep healthy throughout the week and Mr Shillabeer even shared his handmade cricket bats!

The week culminated in a visit from 400m hurdler Rhys Williams. It was a wonderful afternoon and the children felt inspired to meet such an individual. He taught us to believe in ourselves and that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

Our Aspirations and Enterprise week will build upon this premise. We have some special activities planned for the children, including a visit from Aardman Animations!
