Update on COVID
19 October 2021 (by Patricia Page (admin))
As some of you may be aware, we have been seeing increasing numbers of COVD cases in the locality, with many of the first and middle schools being affected.I would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that we are still completing enhanced cleans of the school, frequent hand washing/sanitizing, and ensuring that rooms are well ventilated.
It would be appreciated if you could continue to support us as you have done, by ensuring we maintain social distancing where possible and work with us as we limit contact indoors.
Should we see an increase in cases, then we are able to put into place additional mitigations, such as; staggered start times, bubbles, increased distancing between pupils, and the use of face masks.
If you are unsure of the common symptoms of COVID in children, please follow this link and guidance.
It is a useful reminder of the symptoms and the next steps to take. As the NHS guidance states, if your child is symptomatic, please do not send them into school and get a PCR test booked.
Many thanks in advance for all that you are doing and continue to do, in order to keep our school and community safe.
