Ahoy there! What a busy week it has been in school.
The pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 enjoyed a wonderful trip to Weston-Super-Mare, where they met a real-life pirate, who had stolen their treaure! Also, pupils in Year 3 journeyed down to Taunton to watch some test match cricket, which they loved despite the rain showers! Finally, our Year 4 pupils have been busy honing their lines during their rehearsals and are now ready for their grand performance next week! It's going to be amazing and we are so proud of them all. In the classrooms, there have been wonderful narratives written, Vikings researched and animal fact-files constructed. All of this was celebrated in our Collective Worship this morning - bravo one and all!
We can't wait for the coming weeks and the exciting events lined up, please refer to latest newsletter for key dates and timings. In addition, on Friday 15th, we have a TOP SECRET treat lined up for all of the children. The 15th will also be a mufti day, so we invite the pupils come in dressed as brightly as possible. Donations on this day would be greatly apreciated, with all money raised going to the Brain Tumour Charity.
Have a lovely weekend, take care of yourselves and see you all on Monday for another wonderful week of learning together.
