Dear Families,

I would like to start by thanking you all for your overwhelming support last week, following what was a really positive visit from OFSTED. The staff and I feel very honoured to work in such a kind, caring and supportive community. I would also like to extend a huge well done and thanks to the children of this school; we are incredibly proud of them and they represented the school with their usual energy, enthusiasm and honesty!

Finally, a huge thanks goes to the staff at the school, who work tirelessly to ensure that the children of this community experience the very best start to their education. We have a passionate team at Axbridge and this was rightly recognised, amongst many other areas, as a real strength of the school. Following feedback in person, we are confident that the school is an excellent position for the future and is built upon the strongest of foundations.

For your information, the next steps are as follows:
- In 18 days time, we receive the report from OFSTED.
- We then have 5 days to respond and feed back to them.
- At 30 days from the inspection, a final report is issued and this will be shared with you.
