Dear Families,
I hope you all enjoyed the sunny weather this weekend; it's definitely energised the children who have come back into school today with a spring in their step!
This week, we will be celebrating Mental Health Awareness Week through collective worship and lessons in class. Today during Collective Worship, the children understood the message of "Moving more for our mental health" and why we can't always be happy, all of the time. In school, our Mental Health First Aider is Miss Nash in Oak Class. As part of her role, she is always available to the children and families, to listen and support where she is able to.
Later this week, we invite all children to wear something green on Thursday for 'Wear It Green Day'. This can be a green hat, socks or anything green you have.

On this day, the children will also have the opportunity to raise money for the Mental Health Foundation. For a cash donation of £1, your child will have the chance to throw wet sponges at either Mr Shillabeer or Miss Nash! This will happen during the school day.
