We have been learning about the weather. Please can you watch a weather forecast or use a weather app that includes a map of the UK. Explain the symbols that are used to show the temperature, wind speed, rain, sun and cloud cover. Can your child locate Axbridge on the map? Point out the countries of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and England. 

We are going to be using digital and mechanical weather station equipment in school to take and record weather readings. We will be using a weather cam to compare the weather with another region in the world. Can the children recall any of the readings we will take next week or the name and place we are making comparisons with?
